EGGLESS BUTTER CAKE

Ingredients: Maida -200 gm
B.P -1tsp
B.S - 1/2tsp
Butter -120 gm
Castor sugar - 150gm
Cornflour - 1tbsp
Milk powder - 1tbsp
Milk - 180 ml
Vinegar - 1tsp
Chocolate chips : As needed
Method :
- Mix the butter and sugar together and mix till light and fluffy.
- Add the vinegar to the warm milk and set aside for 5 mins.
- After the milk has curdled, add it to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Now add corn flour and milk powder and mix well.
- Sift the flour along with baking powder and baking soda and add it to the butter mixture.
- Mix well till the flour is completely incorporated.
- Lastly add the chocolate chips and fold gently.
- transfer the cake batter to a 7 inch tin lined with butter paper.
- Bake at 180 degree Celsius for about 30-35 minutes or till a scewer inserted comes out clean.
